Status reports, cashbox data, and income statistics are sent to the central monitoring office, while parameter data changes made by the central office are instantly synchronized by GPS. The SityControl software also allows forwarding of monitoring data to other output devices such as fax or mobile phone. Optional programs are available: SityCCD for configuring parameters and settings of ticket machines, and SityMobile for the use of handhelds for communicating with ticket machines via infrared interface.
A GPRS link allows online verification of credit card payments and software version updates. Individual transactions are transmitted the same ways, and can be evaluated with the SityClient software package with its display of a variety of statistics in different formats. The SityLoad tool provides a mature system for using and administering SLE4442 chip prepaid cards. It enables setup and prepaying of cards, parameter setting for residents’ cards, and logging of all prepayments and payments.
