The SEPAC Beginner class is the ideal hands on learning environment for on street technicians getting their start in working with and programming local controllers and cabinets.
Covers basic functionality of SEPAC local intersection control software. At the completion of the course, students will be familiar with navigating the menus, programming basic signal parameters and have a good understanding of how SEPAC is structured.
Traffic Signal Technicians and Traffic Engineers with EPAC or SEPAC installed or to be installed in their Agency.
Students should have a basic understanding of how a traffic signal works and have familiarity with industry terminology (rings, barriers, phases, timing parameters, plans, coordination).
Covers advanced functionality of SEPAC local intersection control software. At the completion of the course, students will be familiar with coordination modes, adaptive operations, programming advanced signal parameters and have an advanced understanding of how SEPAC is configured.
Traffic Signal Technicians and Traffic Engineers with EPAC or SEPAC installed in their Agency.
SEPAC Beginner Certification. Students should have an advanced understanding of how a traffic signal works and have familiarity with industry terminology (rings, barriers, phases, timing parameters, plans, coordination).
The NextPhase Beginner course covers basic functionality of the NextPhase local intersection control software. At the completion of the ocurse, students will be familiar with loading NextPhase, navigating the menus, programming basic signal paratemers and have a good understanding of how NextPhase is structured.
Traffic Signal Technicians, Traffic Engineers and i2 Operators with NextPhase installed or to be installed in their Agency.
Students should have a basic understanding of how a traffic signal works and have familiarity with industry terminology (rings, barriers, phases, timing parameters).
Covers advanced functionality of the NextPhase local intersection control software. At the completion of the course, students will be familiar with configuring NextPhase with advanced Boolean logic, programming coordination, utilizing peer to peer and prioritor functions and have an advanced understanding of how NextPhase is configured.
Traffic Signal Technicians and Traffic Engineers with NextPhase installed in their Agency that wish to more fully utilize the power of NextPhase.
NextPhase Beginner Certification. Students should have an advanced understanding of how a traffic signal works and have familiarity with industry terminology (rings, barriers, phases, timing parameters, coordination).
Covers basic functionality and architecture of an i2 system. At the completion of the course, students will be familiar with navigating i2, performing basic operator functions and understand the basics of system administration and graphics editing.
Traffic Signal Technicians, Traffic Engineers and i2 Operators with i2 installed or to be installed in their Agency.
Students should have a basic understanding of how a traffic signal works and have familiarity with industry terminology (rings, barriers, phases, timing parameters, plans, coordination).
Covers advanced functionality and architecture of an i2 system. At the completion of the course, students will be familiar with utilizing the tools in i2 to manage day to day operations and incidents. Students will be tasked with performing operator functions and creating Action Sets to manage incidents on a live test system. Actual agency examples will be presented so that students will be able to begin creating their own management schemes and control methodologies. Advanced graphics editing will be covered as well.

I2 Beginner Certification. Students should have a basic understanding of how a traffic signal works and have familiarity with industry terminology (rings, barriers, phases, timing parameters, plans, coordination).
Covers basic functionality and architecture of a TACTICS system. At the completion of the course, students will be familiar with navigating TACTICS, performing basic operator functions and understand the basics of system administration and graphics editing.
Traffic Signal Technicians and Traffic Engineers with TACTICS installed or to be installed in their Agency.
Students should have a basic understanding of how a traffic signal works and have familiarity with industry terminology (rings, barriers, phases, timing parameters, plans, coordination)
Covers advanced functionality and architecture of a TACTICS system. At the completion of the course, students will be familiar with utilizing advanced TACTICS tools, performing advanced operator functions and understand advanced system administration and graphics editing.
